The Last Maharaja

A Game of Sovereignty & Survival

The year is 1790. The Mughal Empire has crumbled. The East India Company grows stronger with each passing season. As ruler of a Princely State, you must navigate treaties, cultural upheaval, and imperial ambition to keep your kingdom alive.

Balance three forces—your Treasury, British Favor, and People's Loyalty—the "Iron Triangle" of survival. If any reaches zero, your reign ends. Survive until 1857 and the rules change forever.

Treasury Fiscal capacity to fund your state
British Favor Diplomatic standing with the Company
Loyalty Your people's faith in your rule
